Description
Ultra Rare Concentration Camp Inmate Striped Cap of a Political Jew With Black Slash for Recidivism. The star of David constructed with 2 triangles (yellow for Jew and red for political prisoner) and a black slash for recidivism or double offender. The cap also has a cloth patch with the number of the prisoner 129. Inside the cap we can see a clear ink stamp that says "Business office Litzmannstadt" where it was probably manufactured, more exactly in workshops of the Litzmannstadt Ghetto. The camp is in excellent condition and also in worn condition. No holes or damage can be seen. It uses the legit striped drillich cloth. Excellent example that could be in any of the Holocaust or war museums in the world. A textbook example of concentration camp inmate caps! All items for this auction will be shipping from Europe.
