Valkyrie - Winter Auction 2021
Album with Friday photos of a Polish woman serving in the Women’s Auxiliary Service in the Polish Armed Forces in the Middle East in 1942 – 1947. The album includes photos from Polish military camps in Syria, Palestine, Iran and Egypt. Some depict military ceremonies, and some of the soldiers’ trips to exotic places, such as pyramids or holy places in Jerusalem. Photographs taken after returning to Poland in 1947 cover a significant part of the album. There are about 260 photographs in total in the almuma. Mainly 8 x 6 cm format. Album in a weak condition. Most of the cards are loose. Take the photos.
