Valkyrie - Winter Auction 2021
War portfolio 1914-1915. Made by students of Polish primary school No. 1 in Lviv under the supervision of professor Chrząstowski in the years 1914 – 1915. The album contains 34 lithographs of students’ works presenting war scenes from the history of Poland and the present (at the time of printing the album – World War I). There are also scenes from the life of the inhabitants of Lviv under the Russian occupation. The album was published by the teachers’ committee of the 1st primary school in Lviv in 1917. Format 40 x 32 cm. Hardcover, later. Very rare album.
