Amazing bronze sculpture of a German Third Reich era fencer dated 1939 by famous artist Arminius Hasemann. Measures 17 inches tall. Hasemann was a member of the Nazi party and was eventually captured by the Soviet Army in 1945 and many years later worked with the Soviets to create a large memorial bust if Freidrich Ebert. Almost nothing of Hasemann’s art survived the war, most of his broze scultures were melted down for the war effort.
