Waffen-SS Greatcoat (Wachmantel).
The Greatcoat/surcoat belonged to the standard equipment of every soldier.
The greatcoat could be worn in cold weather or rain and all other conceivable situations.
Heavy qualityfield-grey woolen construction greatcoat, lined with white rabbit.
This is a typical SS-Type greatcoat, without the turned up French cuffs as found on army type coats.
The greatcoat has two rows of six front closure buttons and the greatcoat also has a single metal hook and eye at the neckline. The greatcoat is not visible maker marked or dated, it is a large size.
The greatcoat is complete with its original hand-sewn RZM type machine-embroiderd SS sleeve eagle.
Infantry EM’S Shoulder Straps (Schulterklappen).
Enlisted Infantry ranks shoulder straps indicate the ranks of SS-Schütze, SS-Oberschütze, SS-Sturmmann and SS-Rottenführer with the collar insignia indicating the specific rank.
Black wool, simplified M44 pattern, construction slip on shoulder straps with white rayon waffenfarbe piping.
German SS greatcoat with fur inside. One button been restricted near mint condition. Good item for any SS display
