December 2021 Auction
Lot 907:
Sold for: $425
Description
Very nice well worn condition Wehrmacht officer’s overseas cap with both Wehrmacht insignia, eagle patch in silver thread and dark green background and the cockade. White piping for Infantry. The cap shows heavy use and it has several rust stains ans also some colour fading due to exposure to sunlight. It also has silver soutach for officers. In the inner part we see that the sweatband is damaged due to use and there’s no liner present. A great piece that has seen battle!
