Description
Program of the 13th General Congress of Polish Legionnaires in Krakow, August 1935. Dimensions: 17 x 1.5 cm. Four sides. The anniversary celebrations commemorate the departure of the cadre company from Krakow in August 1914 to fight one of the occupiers of Poland – Russia. The Cadre Company was the nucleus of the Polish Legions during the First World War. The formation that contributed to Poland’s regaining independence in 1918. The program of the ceremony includes: August 5 – arrival of a delegation with the ground from the legion’s battlefields, setting up legionary delegations by regiments, a funeral appeal in honor of the founder of the Legions, Marshal Piłsudski. August 6: the march of the Rifle Teams along the historical trail of the first cadre company, parade of legionary regiments, paying tribute to Piłsudski in the crypt, speech by General Rydz Śmigły.This item will be shipped from our Europe office.
