Description
During the German occupation during the Second World War, in the building at ul.At 3 Zamkowa Street, there was a detention center for the German military police. Among the numerous prisoners there were also people of Jewish origin. Some of them were murdered during interrogations.Among other things, in February 1942 for leaving the ghetto in the prison at ul.Zamkowa, a group of Jews from Kielce were executed: Szmul Zilberg, Szpryncy Tojcie, Josek Zylbersztajnie, Majer Wikiński and Szabs Wolfowicz
