Description
A letter from 1801 written by the Polish bishop Ignacy Antoni Raczyński of the Nałęcz coat of arms (born on August 6, 1741 in Małoszyn, died on February 19, 1823 in Przemyśl). Bishop Raczyński was the apostolic administrator of the Poznań diocese from April 11, 1794, then the diocesan bishop of Poznań (September 12, 1794 – August 26, 1806), Warsaw apostolic administrator (June 17, 1806 – 1818), metropolitan archbishop of Gniezno (August 26, 1806 – August 22, 1818) [ 1]. Knight of the Order of the White Eagle. A letter written in Latin. On the other side there is a stamp embossed in paper with the bishop’s coat of arms.
