Description
Ultra rare and outstanding tunic of an SD (Sicherheitsdienst – Security Service) SS-Obersturmbannführer. Made in high quality gray wool fabric it’s manufactured in a tailor from Graz called "Zahradnik" as we can see in the label stitched to the inner rayon of the tunic. Tunic also comes with both officer’s shoulder straps and both silver embroidered collar tabs, one with the rank and the other plain in black. Tunic also come swith the "SD" diamond on the sleeve, also silver thread embroidered in excellent condition. The arm eagle is also gorgeous silver bullion eagle over black wood base. Tunic comes with a ribbon bar with 4 medals: SS long service award medal for 12 years of service, 10 years NSDAP long service award, Austria Annexation commemorative medal and romanian anti-communist medal. We can see on one of the pockets that he had more awards since we can see the place for other awards. On the other pocket we can see some damage to the fabric. However the overall condition of this tunic is excellent. One of the few chances you will have to buy a genuine SD tunic of high ranked officer!
